The case size of a watch is measured in millimetres from one side of the dial to another. TW Steel is known for its big proportions, so don’t expect any diminutive sizes within its portfolio. At the smallest end of the spectrum, there are 38mm watches in the CEO Tech collection that are ideal for women but also have unisex appeal. At the largest end, the brand has a handful of 50mm models in its Classic Canteen collection and an array of 48mm watches, especially in the Volante collection.
TW Steel is a Dutch brand with a foot in the world of Swiss manufacturing. It uses Japanese Miyota automatic movements, Swiss Ronda quartz movements and Swiss watchmaking know-how, so the quality and kudos are all there. What makes TW Steel different is its roots in the Netherlands and the style that comes from its Amsterdam-based founders, Ton and Jordy Cobelens. The brand refers to itself as “Dutch by Design” and it’s this that sets it apart.
