Collection: The Cahill family pays tribute to noted Scuba pioneer James Cahill. Cahill, who was born in Salem, Massachusetts was the first scuba diver to dive the waters off New England. And it was in the New England waters where Cahill continued to serve his profession, his community and his country. To pay tribute to Cahill’s deep roots to the region - Spinnaker introduces a new iteration of a Cahill Diver.

Case: The 43 mm case of the Cahill is now topped with an upgraded scratch resistant Sapphire lens with anti-reflective coating for maximum durability and legibility. The robust marine grade constructed case features an exhibition caseback and is carefully carved to fit snug on the wrist.

Dial: The dial on the New England has been re-oriented and re-designed to offer a more distinct utilitarian aesthetic. Crisply applied hour brushed Arabic markers balance square luminous indexes and cross hair markings across the dial. ‘Mercedes’ style hour and minute hands feature Swiss Super luminova, which is also used liberally on the dial and the bezel for visibility improvement in lower light conditions.

Design: The New England is available in a palette of more military inspired matching dial and bezel colourations to offer a more tactically subtle outlook. With a matching water proofed vintage stitched leather strap, the New England Cahill is a handsome update and welcome addition to the Spinnaker line up of vintage divers.
